During a late afternoon stroll around the Westminster area of London, it was inevitable that we would arrive at Westminster Bridge and attempt some photographs of the River Thames.
This is a photograph, which I am sure has inspired many a photographer to take, and we would not want to break that tradition.
This is a photograph of one of the many Victorian lampposts that adorn the length of the Westminster Bridge. This one was taken looking west up the River Thames late on a February spring afternoon just before dusk, so there was some wonderful golden hour light which just seemed to play beautifully with the paintwork on the Lamps.
