After Apple's October announcement regarding their new range of iPhones, including the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, Iphone 12 Pro MAX and iPhone 12 Mini, we are most excited about the prospects of the camera improvements on the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and can't wait to get our hands on one...
"The best camera is the one that's with you"
Chase Jarvis - Award winning Photographer
Never has a quote been so true, because now you will never miss that shot, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, promises to be something that all professional and amateur photographers will want to have in their pockets, immediately to hand when that opportunity arises.
Whilst Apple may be a bit late to the 5G party, the latest batch of iPhones will at long last be offering the user the ability of take advantage of superfast 5G, which considering the advancements being offered in both Still and Video photography that have been announced is a pleasure to hear.
Whilst the resolution of the camera will still only be offering the same 12Mp as the previous iterations of the iPhone, the improvements behind the 47% percent larger sensor are certainly something to get excited about.
The Wide camera comes is at an incredible f.1.6 letting in 27 percent more light for even greater detail and sharp focus, both during the day and at night.
Night mode comes to both the Wide and Ultra Wide cameras, and it’s better than ever at capturing incredible low-light shots.
LiDAR technology, an AR system developed by NASA for the the Mars mission, scans the scene and measures how long it takes light to reflect back from objects, so it can create a depth map of any space you’re in, makeing for lightning fast, accurate and sharper focusing.
Portrait mode has been "fine-tuned" and uses machine learning to better separate the subject from the background, and the creative controls let you adjust the background blur and light on faces.
More detail in the blink of an AI, comes in the form of Smart HDR 3 which automatically refines highlights, shadows, and contours, capturing every bit of detail and pulling out all the textures and subtle nuances in your subject matter.
With the prospects of the Apple ProRAW features that will be added early next year, we are really excited about the amount of creative control that this will give us with the one camera that we always have with us.
This will be the beginning of some exciting times ahead and if you are an iPhone user then I am sure you will agree with us.
