This photo was taken quite a few years ago, January 2009 to be precise, we just love the contrast of the scene across the beach, with rocks and pools for added foreground interest.
It was taken at dusk in early January, and the beach was deserted.
We had taken a walk around the coastal path from Land's End, and ended up at Sennen Cove, where this photo was taken using a compact Fuji Finepix F50 camera. That's right, the shot was taken with a very basic compact camera, once again proving that you do not need the latest and greatest equipment to get a really good shot.
Admittedly, the photo has been post processed in Lightroom to bring out the colours, highlights and shadow details, but we think it truly reflects the actual scene on the day.
